Eau de Larme
Artwork Eau de Larme is an art object, an idea of the work arose from the artists struggle with depression and anxiety in the form of art therapy.
The work consists of a bottle of perfume in which the artist collects her tears, caused by her emotional state. The power of the word "You're gone" or “You are not here.” (Croatian “Tebe nema.”) means everything that the artist lost during her fight, such as herself, a loved one, her path, etc. Also, the dot at the end indicates the last goodbye. The artist tries to communicate with the audience by trying to awake certain emotions and memories.
The work is called Eau de Larme (French for tears) because as a perfume (Eau de Parfum) it leaves a trace behind, in this case a visual trace. The work is small in size in order to bring the audience as close as possible to the work. Using the power of words, the author communicates with the audience by sending her message, connecting language and fine arts by using art as a means of expressing her own thoughts and emotions with the desire to introduce them to the topic.
