Letters to Myself

Letters to Myself is an art installation, made from ceramic. Struggling with her inner / emotional reality, the artist uses the sentences on clay. Sentences that were said to her about her struggle with depression and anxiety, from her family, colleagues or herself. The idea of this intimate artwork comes in a moment of need, thinking about painful moments, re-experiencing and finally creating it in an art form.

In the letters we find expressions of self-encouragement, short sentences in Croatian, English and Italian - reconciliation with oneself and the situation, statements of people who suggest that "It is nothing" or that "Depression does not exist".
